A form of deep massage therapy, Endermologie®uses a vacuum suctioning device to knead the skin and subcutaneous tissue, while negative pressure holds the skin between rollers, smoothing any uneven contour caused by cellulite. Endermologie® may also help improve circulation, relieve minor muscular aches, and improve the skin’s tone and radiance.
At LaserSpa of Tampa Bay, we offer state of the art cellulite reduction with LPG’s Endermologie®.
Endermologie is a non-invasive procedure, FDA approved technology that smooths out cellulite, tones the body and improves overall appearance of the skin. Cellulite often shows up as dimpling on the skin, sometimes called the “cottage cheese” look, even in those who are fit. The look of cellulite does not necessarily diminish with weight loss and liposuction fails to address this top layer of fat under the skin. French plastic surgeons developed the techniques used in Endermologie®.
How does Endermologie work?
Endermologie® uses rollers that often feel like a deep tissue massage, over problem areas of the skin. At the same time, suction is used to redistribute the skin and remove dimpling. We also have the upgraded version of LPG’s system to offer Liftmassage®, which will help, not only to smooth out skin, but to give you the “lift” on areas such as the buttocks.
What areas can be treated?
A typical Endermologie® session lasts approximately 45 minutes and includes the full body, concentrating on problem areas such as the buttocks and thighs.
How many visits will it take to see results?
Endermologie® usually requires a series of sessions to see best results. An average of 3 to 4 consecutive sessions is required to start to see visual results.
Will it last?
Once you have achieved your goal, most patients require a monthly treatment to maintain the smooth skin look.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects, if any, are minimal and may involved light bruising (rare) or soreness in the area(s) treated. Most of our patients love the feel of Endermologie®!
