What is a photofacial?

Our photofacials are performed using Palomar’s patented RejuveLux™ Process. Photofacials target the face, neck, and chest to remove sun-damaged and aged areas and facial vessels, smooth fine lines, and overall skin texture. Photofacials stimulate collagen production, producing a fresher, healthier, more youthful look. Photofacials can also be performed on the hands, legs, arms, and shoulders or anywhere where brown spots and sun damage are prevalent. Photofacials can leave a patient’s skin looking more youthful and vibrant. You may also see a photofacial referred to an IPL treatment, which stands for ‘intense pulsed light.

Photofacials are performed with a series of gentle pulsed light treatments. The intense light is emitted in a series of pulses over the target area.

This unique, non-invasive treatment can improve the appearance of skin, while requiring little to no down time for the patient. There may initially be some redness and darkening of spots, which should fade in a short time.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Facials, harness the natural healing power of your own blood to renew and refresh the skin from within. A small amount of your blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to isolate platelet-rich plasma – a powerful concentration of growth factors that promote cell regeneration and collagen production.

When combined with microneedling, the PRP penetrates deeply into the skin, accelerating healing and delivering dramatic improvements in tone, texture, and elasticity. Fine lines soften, pores appear smaller, and your complexion looks more radiant and youthful.

This treatment is ideal for anyone seeking a natural, non-surgical way to rejuvenate aging or damaged skin with minimal downtime and long-lasting results.
